It’s more than one library. One is in the 300GB range the other in the 600GB range… just AVCHD (and some GoPro) interview footage for the most part.

Goes both ways Andy. I have a hard time going back to the limitations of Premiere/FCP7 after experiencing the flexibility I have gotten used to with FCPX.

Agreed. I teach part-time a couple of classes to high school students. I almost don’t have to teach them anything with regard to the basics of editing in FCPX. We can jump into talking about basic editing aesthetics almost immediately.

I’ve been amazed at how accurate audio sync is in FCPX. I had some GoPro footage that was essentially just the noise floor with occasionally barely audible dialogue… synced perfectly.

Both devices are TB2.
I’m wondering if the normal Pegasus “initialization” process (usually takes about 8 hours) disturbed the regular startup sequence in some way. Hope to have time to test this early next week.

Plugging both into the back of the MacPro solved the issue; both cables work. I did have one Thunderbolt port open (two older ACDs, Matrox adaptor, Tb USB/FW hub, and existing Pegasus2 R4).
The question remains as to why would daisy chaining the two R4s not work?

Ah, that sounds like a winner. I searched the documentation for packages but nothing turned up.
