Oh no, that wouldn’t work. Everyone today is looking for a migic one button fix. Doing it today with v10?will actually require a little work…

Or you could wait for version 11. In that version of Resolve you could soften just the mid tones of the skin. Very effective:-)

Yes, it will create broadcast safe masters.

Hm, weren’t we talking about troubles with nVida cards and Mavericks? Why confuse the issue by introducing OpenCL cards and Mavericks into this conversation?

April 2, 2014 at 6:45 am in reply to: Please tell us which Cuda and NVidia driver versions we need for Mac Pro 2012 and Resolve 10.1.3 not to crash instantlyThere are many passionate people at Reduser, no doubt about it. Most of the time I just ignore the partisan and red-obsessed. But it is impossible to avoid your endless freudian attempts in trying to figure out what makes me tick. As you probably remember, for a while I even stopped posting there altogether as a direct response to your angry posts. But then I thought, screw Robert. Other people actually appreciate my help and why shouldn’t I be able to help them, just because Robert is being a jerk? You are an angry and vicious man without manners. I have zero interest in interaction with you. So, please try to avoid my posts in the future and then will get along just fine…

What’s a X280? And what have you gained by installing Mavericks, that you couldn’t get on ML other than some additional grief? How was Resolve 10.1.2 working out for you?

For the life of me, I have no idea everyone just dying to use Mavericks. People upgrade to 10.9 and then they are whining, when their nVidia cards all of a sudden stop working, when with 10.8 the same hardware was working just fine. Doh…

March 28, 2014 at 7:01 pm in reply to: Avid Artist Color issue with Davinci Resolve and Avid 3.1.2 drivers for MavericksIt all sounds very interesting. But the problem is the Control panel not officially supported by Resolve. So, as you personally had witnessed, without any warning Control panel may become just a pretty accessory. Personally, I prefer to use the iPad control. It is fully customizable and it is free.
I hope your issue will get resolved soon.
Good luck… -

He said it much better, than I ever could:
ahhh yee . . . that Ruffo dickish flare always shines through
Maybe the upcoming “Rob Ruffo Series III” user account will be opinionated without the personal jabs in every paragraph.

And of coarse, who could ever forget this post by the same user?
