Hi,

I am trying to upgrade my F3 to Slog but it’s not working. I downloaded firewire update 1.4 from sony website and install into my camera but somehow it’s not working. Are the firewire update and slog update 2 different things? Could anyone help me please? Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Thanks for your help. FCPx is almost the same cost of the redgain plugin for syncing. I am thinking to upgrade my FCP. Is that’s useful? I still have lots of uncompleted projects which I have half edited in FCP7. Will it be a problem to carry on working on those projects in FCPx?

Thanks for your help. Is this plugin batter then FCPx multi cam sync option? What’s the deference in both options?
I am not using camera native footage for editing. I usually convert the footage into 422 prores and then start editing.

Hi,

I have a 32GB SDXC card which I am using in my Sony PMW F3 camera. I have formatted the card several times and just realised I didn’t copy the video clips from the card before formatting it. Please could you suggest me something how can I recover the old files also.

Thanks for your help. I am using Sony PMW F3 first time so don’t know which SxS card will work in this camera. I saw there are 2 types of cards MEAD-SD01 ADAPTS SD (with SD card option) and CBK-RGB01 444 S-Log Gamma. I can buy the CBK-RGB01 444 S-Log Gamma SxS card later for the 444 use.
Can I use the standerd EX3’s SxS card for the high quality video? Is there any cheap flash memory which I can use with this camera? If you know any company which is selling cheap SxS card then please send me a link.

Is there any other cheap option. I want to use the camera hand held, looking for an option where I can use servo button also.

Thanks for your message. That adapter is very expensive. Is there any long and cheap adapter which I can use with sony ex3’s lens on F3 camera?
