    Thanks again Darby
I can’t seem to get it right for some reason. my animation is a car driving in and out of the frame and i would like to have a form element (resembling a piece of mesh cloth appear draped and flowing in the shape of the car as if the car is driving through it
I use the depth info on the z layer map but it’s not working out. It just gives me the side view of the car .
Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated
    sincerely

Thank you Darby, your reply was very helpful!
I figure that if i export the depth information from C4d and use it as a displacement map for the z layer I will get the result that i am after.
    Thanks again

    Thank you Dan!
I am trying to simplify the problem a little bit
Ideally I would like the mattes (all 105 of them) to randomly scale up and down in height in relation to each other, so that the animation stays within the comps height. Would you have any suggestion on how to achieve these results?
    Thank you in advance
    Jacques
