When I set the HDV settings in Final Cut and on the XH A1 and open the log and capture windows it says “Unable to locate device”? Any idea?

Did you ever solve this problem? I just got the XH A1 and I have a project deadline coming up. I am able to control the camera through the controls in FCP, but the camera will not show up on the preview and it will not allow any footage to be captured. Please help me!
