My DV captures have a small black border on left and right side. The broadcast colors filter is reading this area as black. So it adjusts everything according to this area, which is incorrect. All detail is lost in the blacks. Is there a way to mask this area or change the border to IRE 7.5, before applying the broadcast colors effect?
