    If you have it, you might be able to use Particular to achieve this using letters as particles. They do something similar in this tutorial…

    There might be a way to do something similar with the particle generator that comes in AE but I’m not sure off hand. Hope this helps.

  • I believe you could also just highlight the original in the render queue then hit Cmd/ctrl+D to duplicate it. From there you can make any changes to the output settings and fire it off again. This way you keep a sort of history of the renders you have already done.

    you could also try importing the clip back into premier pro and see if it looks right in there at 100% scale. If it looks good, you don’t need to worry about how it looks in QT…

    if QT is scaling your video at all for playback it will screw up graphics like that too. I know when I export something from FCP that is DV, if I watch it in QT it usually looks like crap but, if I export from QT as a .m4v or another format for web, it will look fine again. What is the final output for the video you are working on? You might try taking it to the next step and see how it looks there…

    Ok. I had an adjustment layer to make my reflection render right and it was screwing up the shadow. Here’s what I did if it helps anyone… I just lowered the opacity of the floor and upped the and upped the opacity of the reflection
