as I wanted something a bit more solid that could hold a 4 kilos payload horizontally (somehow monopod specifications are always given if the tripod is laser sharp pixel perfectly aligned vertically with the whole weight pressing down uniformly, like that ever happens…! ????), so I tried something else, from 3 legged thing, the Trent modelHave you heard of it or any opinion about how solid it would be when used horizontally ?

Just lock the masks on the layer you’re trying to puppet, and you’ll be able to use the tool normally

Currently reporting +430 MB project, with only very few crashes if for example I go crazy scanning the entire timeline too violently.

OK actually it’s still not great it’s just that it’s less visible at lower shadow map resolution that’s all.

It was fixed by setting it to the LOWEST value, 250, not comp size. Go figure even more. ???? -
I had indeed tried increasing it to the max, 4000, and saw no change.
After your comment, I checked it again, and what a surprise when setting it back to the default “comp size” fixed the problem ????
The shadow doesn’t render exactly as smoothly as it does when the layer is unparented, go figure, but at least now it’s much closer and doesn’t look as bad.

The actual project is more complex than this stripped down version, I would like to keep the text parented to the logo ???? -

I can’t use it for this project because every “character” has to be a sprite, not a font, but pretty close !
