Considering the instructions are a direct email I received from Apple, I think you are the one who doesn’t understand what’s going on. The registration detail code is also known as a REDEMPTION code, and if you read the activating instructions it clearly tells you how to use it

I find it harsh that you would suggest to get me banned.

When I received the prize I was given the incorrect wording. The registration detail is the REDEMPTION CODE to be applied in the MAC App Store. There are more details regarding how to apply this code on the listing.
