October 2, 2012 at 4:05 pmThere is no “license and registration” for FCPX so your post looks suspicious.
At best there would be a coupon code in the Mac App Store. Unless Apple is offering it as a prize (would be the first I heard of this) everything about your ebay offer looks suspicious.
Moderators may want to report or delete or you’d want to offer a more accurate explanation. -

October 2, 2012 at 8:34 pmJackson seems like a young guy, so he may not be aware of his ability to re-sell this software. Jackson, you should be more specific about how the auction winner will actually end up possessing FCPX.

October 5, 2012 at 11:36 amI find it harsh that you would suggest to get me banned.
When I received the prize I was given the incorrect wording. The registration detail is the REDEMPTION CODE to be applied in the MAC App Store. There are more details regarding how to apply this code on the listing.

October 5, 2012 at 2:48 pmThere’s lots of scams going on and when someone tries to sell something that doesn’t exist “license and registration” there is serious cause for concern. To date, I still have heard of no case where Apple is authorizing coupon prizes to user groups or any other organizations. The ad continues to imply License and Registration complete with the first few characters listed which can’t exist but Apple doesn’t use the process.

October 5, 2012 at 3:23 pmConsidering the instructions are a direct email I received from Apple, I think you are the one who doesn’t understand what’s going on. The registration detail code is also known as a REDEMPTION code, and if you read the activating instructions it clearly tells you how to use it

October 5, 2012 at 4:00 pmThanks for that verification. I think you should stat that in the ad as I doubt I’m the only one suspicion given the wording of the ad and the lack of attribution of the source of the prize. I know it’s common for people to sell unwanted prizes from user groups, yet Apple doesn’t offer prizes at such groups but I can see it for a gov’t sponsored competition targeted to youth.
And you’re listed as a winner.
