Turned out the file size was 3+ GB, so it was all good. Thanks for the suggestion.

Nothing really, just changed the font (all titles use the same chalkboard font), the font size and the line spacing. The list of credits, etc., is fairly long though.

20-25 minutes or so. When I get back to work on it tonight, I can be more accurate.

    Hi Jeremy, thanks for responding.

Under Titles/Credits/Scrolling, it is about 3 minutes long at this point. The only thing underneath is a small Gap just so I can place the title on something until I insert some photos I want to use.

June 26, 2012 at 9:24 pm in reply to: How do I set the white balance?

Below is a link for the single most useful plug-in I have found for FCPX and it is for white balance. FCPX is very lacking when it comes to color correction, I really struggled with the color corrector, then I found this:

    https://www.fcpeffects.com/collections/new-stuff/products/white-balance-plugin

Use their discount codes that you can find on the website and they knock 30% off.

This is going to sound dumb again, but once something is rendered, and you go back in and change it, will it take a long time to re-render it?

    Thanks Steve.

Is there any loss of quality if you don’t render first before exporting?

This may sound stupid, but I thought the FCP Projects rendered as you went along… No? I thought that is what was going on in the background…

Steve, this is a great idea because one of the 3 things that Apple requested to use to analyze my issue was a copy of the CurrentVersion.fcpproject. And the way I eventually solved my issue is we went back to an “Old Version” of that file.
