    Hi David,

Have you found a solution to this problem? I’m having the same issue in CS6 (not the extended version).

    Thanks.

Thanks. When I import the Premiere project directly into AE the video is there, but it isn’t split up into layers the way it would be if I simply cut and pasted (which is what I need for this particular project).

Regardless, am I missing something that would allow After Effects to handle these files the way Premiere does? I’ve recently upgraded to CS6, and hadn’t experienced this issue in the past.

I’ve been copying the timeline from Premiere and pasting it into After Effects with no luck.

Hi Dave – thanks for the response.

To start with, the image is a .jpeg at 7275×5475. The composition is 1920×1080 at 23.976 fps.

The best way I can explain the ‘flicker’ is that the edges of the text seem a bit wobbly as they move through the frame, and the thickness of the lines appear to fluctuate. When I push in I can see that nothing is actually happening, rather, it’s an annoying illusion.

Raising the frame rate seems to help, but the client is working at 23.976, so I’m somewhat stuck.

    Thanks.
