I had the EXACT same problem but managed to find a solution! 😀

Go to Sequence, Sequence Settings, Display Format (drop down menu)
Make sure its set to ’30fps Non-Drop-Frame Timecode’!

This worked the trick for me, I hope it works for you too! 🙂
