hello,

we have tried many things but the most stable thing so far seems to be to export a quictime movie from a merged clip, and then use that new clip to create the multiclip. But still testing and having some problems with batch export to make it more difficult.

One new question: do you think using 24 bit audio and 16 bit audio in the same multiclip can also create problems? the problem we have is that if we don’t use 24bit audio we might have to relink everything by hand to go to sound postproduction (we will have to check that with them on monday).

We’ve already done that. no luck. We are probably going to try editing the old way, without the multiclips, going to standard sublicps rather than multiclips unless we find a solution on the meantime.

and now we get a general error message when we try to export a movie from a sequence, when everything else was working, apart from not being able to copy a sequence from one project to another.

hello,

we have copied part of the media to another system, that has Final Cut 6.0.5 installed. and it seems to work much better, but once we copy a sequence from one project to another one, the sequence starts to get corrupted somehow. Any new tips?

We will try that, thanks. we have just ordered Final cut studio 7, do you think it will be better to update to the last version of Final Cut 6 or to update to 7 (Apple says it is not supported on non intel, but we have read that it does work)

hi,

We thought that by adding angle names to the clips and resyncing the problem was solved. it was solved temporarily, but when we move or copy those clips to another project some ramdon clips (inside the multiclip) start loosing their names and adopting that of their neighbour clips.

Can anybody help???
