What would be a better codec that FCP can do then? My system can’t handle uncompressed, and I don’t want to use DVCPro HD as the frame size is so much smaller (at least internally).
That is why I went with the avid codec, seemed a good compromise between the two.

Thanks for the advice. Turns out the issue is that the Kona’s connections are AES and not analog. I was trying to monitor via an analog source so that was my issue.
