You did catch me in time. Thank you for your response. I do need to see my media appropriately, the purple clips are SCARY. So, I guess I am in a bit of a pickle with iTunes now…..Well… I am now just thinking that I could update QT on my laptop to download iTunes stuff and keep my desktop as my Media-100 dinosaur eh? If I brought files from my laptop over to my desktop (media100) could I bring the music files over in a way that itunes on my desktop wouldn’t have to read them? What do you think?

OMG. Thank goodness I thought to search for a M100 forum, and to find the thread about the mysterious “purple clips” was such a relief. I called Tech Support today knowing good well that I did not have an active contract but then in my act of desperation, I found YOU giving your brilliant support on CreativeCow. I am a first timer here. Anyhow, thanks once again for being the most proficient, professional technical Daddio I have ever met.
