    thanks steve… i barely got their book and skipped to chapter 14 with 3d rotation and cameras… still haven’t finished it yet…

    rotation rotates the object by the shortest path between the coordinates. orientation does not. rule of thumb i read from the chris and trish book was to orient the object to the position you want it to stay and to use rotate for the animation of it…

    do you want repeated information over and over… i use loopOut(“cycle”,0) as an expression in whatever field you are trying to loop. if you are talking about animation throughout the layers. select all layers and add the keyframes to one. this will create the same keyframes to all layers.

    hey guys love what you are talking about… can you go in more detail on how to make garbage mattes and the rest of the stuff you do. i hear this all the time… so many steps to the process. but how? i will research through the cow and see as well.
