  • No Andrew, that wasn’t a dream. Actually Kevin from Abobe posted a while ago that NVIDIA apparently found a fix and would deliver it soon. Since then Kevin removed his promising posting. I don’t know why, but since his message appaered and disppeared a couple of weeks ago we didn’t get a fix from NVIDIA. I hope Kevin was right by stating that they are aware of this mess and have actually figured out how to fix this asap

  • Finally some good news Kevin ! Lets all hope what they found really stops the glitches once and for all ! Its been a real pain and the time it took to fix this has been way too long for people like us who rely on Premiere for our work.

  • It seems the GPU drivers you mentioned are e.g not compatible on a NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M card as in my Retina 15* mac book pro (late 2013) Downloading and trying to install the driver will give me this message “This computer is not compatible with the NVIDIA Web Driver.”

  • Brian, as far as I read this thread noone had this problem with glitchy graphics when switching from Cuda to Open CL. But switching to Open CL means the Nvidia card is not used for rendering etc which slows render times down a bunch.

  • Same thing here. I’m using the latest beta of Yosemite since I have a developer account. It doesn’t make a difference. Im sure Nvidia Cuda is the culprit. Amazing how long it takes between Apple, Adobe and Nividia to figure things out. For Nvidia to go into total denial (I read the reply from their support from a different user) is just bad. At least Peter from Adobe is with us on this which kind of feels a little better. Im on a late 2013 Retina Mac Book Pro. Ive already sent a bug report to Apple and so should everyone here . Sharing the problem here is a good thing, but unless Apple receives actual bug reports on this a solution could be even further away.
