    Thanks for the help… yes, splines would be good- even though I have to create each individual strand and then conform. I have clothilde but have not got into it yet. I am basically looking for a REALLY easy way to create the strands and then have them replicated. I was think of a hair plug-in but i think that would be too crazy.

    Any other thoughts or ideas?
