Guys is there any way for me to use the footage I already have on the timeline? is there a pulldown removal i can perform on what’s on the timeline instead of starting from scratch with original footage.

I have already colored corrected and am about to mix sound. I need a solution to what I already have.

Thanks Mike. What happens if i leave it the way it is? It does look interlaced on computer but might not on TV. Also I can create a new sequence and past the finished product to it to view.

In order words does the footage with the extra pull down affect this in any way in the long run?

Thanks the QT issue was solved. The timeline issue is another problem.
my timebase is 24 and frame rate is 24fp.

I realize how messed up my capturing was.

I really don’t think I can recapture. I have about 26 tapes of footage and a deadline. I have already done about 70% of the work. So I assume i am screwed. What i have now isn’t 24p then although that’s what I shot at – dvx 100 24p not advanced.

I created a seperate sequence with 23.98 settings and if i copy and past to that sequence I can at least see it(movement) on the monitor after a lot of rendering but am I looking at 24p?

If I leave it the way it is without the new sequence will it be interlaced on a tv scene? I know TV is interlaced so probably not but what if it is to be blowned up to film, have i lost the 24p advantage?

You guys are a great help. Thanks.
