Geez 7 Sony Vegas Professionals oversee this forum one not one answer, I’m a little disappointed gentlemen. I run a forum myself and never let anyone go unanswered or at least try help them.

I’m guessing it’s because Cineform is involved in the equation.

    regards Ian

Maybe i should elaborate. When saving a project as a veg file you have the option of saving a trimmed version of the media with an additional 2sec overlap on each end of the clip. With Cineform neoscene files on the timeline i cannot do this, it crashes but works fine with other formats. Is this a limitation of Cineform files or have i something wrong??

    Thanks Ian

Well i did one years ago where the camera slowly zoomed in to my head and chest while laying on a bed. I was moving my head from side to side like having a bad dream. The next effect was a ripple or wobble and then the bed sequence dissolves through a fade into a dream sequence.(paddling an outrigger in Hawaii. This was done when i was very new to video.

    All done in Sony Vegas.

Try rendering the WMV files to individual avi files first before dropping them on the vegas timeline. This should solve your problem.

If you could squeeze a little more color into it and maybe drop the gamma a bit more might improve a bit, but that’s on MY monitor what’s on yours is what counts.

Another all in adjustment plugin for Sony Vegas is the free AAV Colorlab plugin. https://aav6cc.blogspot.com i find this is all i need sometimes especially for adjusting for white balance from Canon cameras and also independently adjusting the 6 colors and their levels.

Don, i suggested color corrector controls as you will probably want to increase the color saturation after lifting the levels and by the look of Johns sample that’s what you will need to do. Everyone has their favorite way and every situation is different, try them all go with the one that gives you the best results.

    Cheers Ian
