there are software that are more suitable for that kind of interactivity.

hi detlef.

save your jpg as a psd with the alpha channel. that should do it.

remember that jpg is a compressed file that cannot be used with an alpha channel.

jpg is 24 bit (rgb)

psd is 32 bit (rgb + alpha)
