  • so …

furryball and octane did not render the pyrocluster at all …
maybe my fault, did not spend much time with it

    I got a solution:

I converted the phytonskript bolt to a single polgyon object
assigned an area light with inverse square falloff
    two hours fine tuning

you dont even need GI for it

  • one last time 😉

would it be possible with a different renderer?
    maybe furryball?

  • Adam, I followed your suggestion

    it works, thanks!!
although i limited the lights to the start and endpoint of the lightning, intersections with the clouds are not illuminated . to do this, I would have to modifiy the phyton skript and add lights along the spline, which would cost too much time for now

here is the result, still very basic but a start

  • Hi Adam

thanks! I hoped that there is a way ..

here is the desired image(without illumination of the cloud)

I dont have to stay with pyrocluster for the cloud, is there another reasonable way?

the fake light works, but I want to make an animation with several ozillating strikes, so it would be complicated.

I tried to put an reflector beneath the cloud, but this does not work either
