  • Ah I see where you mean. The intensity was the light source, not the shadow. Still, when I try keyframing the density it wont fade. The shadows either there or not. I’ve tried looking in forums for ways and no joy – I’m starting to think that maybe Cinema 4D cant do it!

  • I managed to work out the frames. Bit strange really – it said it had rendered 166 frames but when I looked it had actually done the whole thing! Thanks for the feedback on that though, I found the ‘all frames’ you mentioned so will be good to know for next time.

Regarding the shadow, do you mean the intensity of the shadow? I tried keyframing this and it didn’t work.

p.s. She wants it to play from the disc without it being dragged onto the computer.

Its for my friends uni project and she has to hand it in on a disc. The cd is jerky although the actual movie played fine before the disc was burnt, so Im guessing its the cd? I did suggest drop boxing it but she has to have it on disc unfortunately. Do you think a normal dvd would be ok?

Its only going to be played on a computer, not on a dvd player, so do I still need for it to be a bluray? Would a normal dvd be ok to use for this?

  • This is exactly what I was looking for, thank you!

  • I have PS CS5. It looks as though the layer has rasterised but at no point did I rasterise it and it’s happened more than a few times with this work. I’ve had to go back and recreate all of my text boxes which has taken me a while.

I would like to try and find out why it’s done this so I know if it happens again. I’ve never had anything like this before using PS so I’m a bit puzzled! There was no error messages and I’ve checked the fonts and they’re fine. Sorry if it’s a silly question but is there something that will rasterise text layers without you actually selecting ‘Rasterise Type’ from the options?

  • Thats great thanks! You have no idea how many things I tried.. Works a treat 🙂
