if there is nothing u can do to fix this, how do people edit their videos with these frames missing? at certain times i want to put in effects and i need specific times / postions on the film to do this.

100fps, yes. i was confused by that too but, thats what vegas says. but, my camera does 1080p 1280×720 @ 30fps per my camcorders manual. so i dont know what the deal with that is.

well now that i did what you said mike is works but, the audio does not still the step where you asked me to:
    ———————————————————————
    Step 2
For Video Format, select Pass through.
In the box above Video Format, now pull down the list and select Audio
    ———————————————————————
it did not have an option for “pass through”, well it did but it was greyed out and as not an option i could click on. seems like im almost there, lol. what could be the issue ? the audio in vegas is a track that is in the timeline but, it does not show that any audio can be heard( the audio waves ). any other ideas would be nice : 0 thanks, yoiu all have been sooo helpful. im almost there :b

the brand name on the camcorder is “aiptek” and it makes videos in”quicktime movie” format which are 1080p.
so how do i fix this?
where can i get codecs to fix the problem?
