  • hi john
first thanxto you for reply ,
as you said ” That’s because TS stands for Transport Stream and is an acquisition format (i.e., for recording). PS stands for Program Stream and is a delivery format. So it’s no surprise that devices that don’t record can’t handle transport streams because they are meant for playback and are expecting program streams.”

its ok for not playback on other devices .but can you please guide how to render 1920x1080p 25 frames with 80mbs render in mpeg .ps in vegas pro ?

because there is no any info aobut on internet or sony official website

is there any way to render if not thn i need to transcode and which app is better for mpeg .ps transcoder.

  • hi.

i share with you the easiness in vegas its user friendly importing and exporting.
2nd main thing it is very cool .whatever you imort even very heavy clips. mean avch 1920×1080 50 fps , its palying and editing smoothly
but in premiere for this you need very high configuration hardware. same clips playing nicely in premeire but when we add effect on them they become crazy.

    the preview lag.
may b e i dont have cuda enabled gpu for premeire.

but in sony i have amd r9 290
    its working very nicely.
and about codec i can say vegas eat every thing.

i give 9 marks out of 10 to vegas. but to premeire 5
    thnx

i really need your advice on BCC 9 fx in sony vegas pro. all effect running well.
but problem in when we pan and crop with these effcets to fottage and render.
    eXAmple-
i have footage 1920 X 1080p AVCHD. 25 frames.16 :9 Ratio. and my time line is match with footage.
2 i apply BCC 9 DVE Effect to fottage. and do some crops. i add pictures. there
3 it is playing well on timeline preview
    4 i need this REnder as DVD Format. Mean 720×576 25 frames 16 : 9 Ratio.,
but when i render in this format the output video is mis align. mean you can see in pictures.

same happening with new blue thn i try tiffen dfx and did Apply DVE fx to footage. did same croping. andrender in DVD format. but this result is nice No mis align.

  • hi.

yes this is true about Vegas
it is easy compare to premiere pro. powerful enough
i am using Vegas pro last 5 years. and from last one year premiere pro also.

both has their qualities. powers. but work flow in Vegas on time line is very easy and user friendly than premiere.

importing clips. crossfading. effects are very quick response thn premiere pro
    my rig is
    Intel i7 4770
    32 gb @ 1600 MHz Ram
    amd r9 Power Colour Gpu
    Gigabyte H97 D3H Mother board.

on this machine vegas run very smoothly. just one thing is bad in Vegas
    managing 3rd party plugins
there are lot of plugins for Vegas, many many transitions.
more you can check with pro-dad Ado rage effects it has thousands transitions and filters
2- Boris Fx also has lot s of transitions
3- many more like Gen arts Sapphire.
    4- New Blue Fx

i tested all as trial. i can say 90% these plugins work very nice but as much as you use plugins more it is crashing. this is very bad thing about Vegas

and in premiere has also very support for plugins. but as much as you apply it is become very heavy on time line. even its lagging on preview and crashing also
