I am new to AE. So I apologize in advance for my ignorance. When you say “Create a null, and parent the hi-rez picture to it.” Do I click on the null object–then select my hi-rez image in the drop down “parent” menu, or do I click on the hi-rez image–then select the null object in the drop down “parent” menu.

I am totally new to AE, but I have been doing a tutorial–and I think you need to go under Animation in the menu bar, then select keyframe interpolation. Try it, couldn’t hurt!
