thanks alot dave, yes am going to do what you told me , i am ordering same capacity tomorrow , and then il have 1 for primary and 1 for cache and others for storage.

just wanted to say if i used 300gb then the remaining gb is not enough for cache is it , on this hdd afer effects setting i set cache limit to 98gb to the folder , highest it reached 100gb i never had 150gb or over

when if i clone my hdd which is 300gb size and then once windows boots from ssd shift large files over to other hdd ? then il have windows on ssd and all after effects etc., wil this be ok ?

i will minimize my ssd to 200gb and leave rest to cache til i get another ssd wil this work , i only work on short clips it dont require more then 200gb as far as i have used

also my pc can stay on more then 24 hours without shut downs so can that damage the drive

i will have it plugged from external case via using port 3 will this still work this way or do i need to connect it inside

will this ssd be fast on my machine,currently using adobe no slow down renders fast also in timeline it acceps all resolution and no slow downs

i also wanted to say currently i have it turned of because i have 16gb ram and not sure how much ram i should give to other apps , am not having no issues with loading up or crash , in task manager when i work with after effects cc2014 after some time i se it uses 10gb memory lol this is just to much ,but stil runs good even play pc games on it while its in background idle stil normal.

should i turn the multi processing on , also will it consume more electric or will it damage my cpu in anyway

i have over 100 plugins and scrips installed on both cc 15 / 14 and with or without multi processing on i have no issues starting it up its normal fast no slow loading , am just referring to if i have it enabled will it consume more electric power ?

if i enable multi processing will this speed up the render time, also speed up render is time line as i move through

if i save projects in cc 2014 can i open in cc 2015 vice versa
