i purchased this ssd 500gb is this good

current pc specs
1tb sata hdd
500gb sata
gtx 750ti
i7 6700k
16gb ram

will this ssd be fast on my machine,currently using adobe no slow down renders fast also in timeline it acceps all resolution and no slow downs

i will have it plugged from external case via using port 3 will this still work this way or do i need to connect it inside

The cache drive benefits from the fastest possible connection. This is usually internal.

so should i have this connected as interal drive always.

also my pc can stay on more then 24 hours without shut downs so can that damage the drive

Well, eventually any piece of hardware will fail, but I’m running a bunch of Samsung SSDs 24/7.
