    Hi guys

Thanks for your advice. Thanks Arnie for your positive remark and advice, i will try your method.

Mike _s and Bogiesan, as i said in my second post that i made an error in my first post, hence that was why i rewrote it changing a few lines in the paragraph. Please do not take it as me repeating myself as i appreciate all the advice i can get.
Gus understands, and HE, appreciates your comments. I was merely waiting for a few more responses to compare approaches before getting back to people with my next plan of action.

    Thanks

Thanks for the advice. I’ll take that into consideration going forward.

But for now my dilema remains the same. It does not explain why the background image is still becoming invisible. Can anyone explain why this is happening? And how I can resolve it?

    Thanks again!

Thanks very much Todd. Im actually capturing in the DV format although I filmed in HDV. This is because I’ve been well informed that HDV editing on my machine is not powerful enough, and will tend to cause sluggishness in FCP5. Im running a G5 1.8ghz with currently only a gig of ram. Hopefully before I start editing again I should have more ram. And going forward a better graphics card.

Thanks very much for your advice.!

Forgot to add, I would appreciate any advice or examples of working process, and advice on things to avoid.

    Thanks for your time people.
