    Hi Peter,
    Thanks for the tip.
When I use velocity remap and motion stabilizer together, which one should I apply first on the clip?

    Hi Boris,
    thanks for your reply.

[Boris Yamnitsky] “- When will it be possible to import audio file in RED (windows OS)?

Are you running 32 bit or 64 bit, standalone or plugin?”

I am running 64 bit, plugin for Vegas.

[Boris Yamnitsky] “- Do you have a solution for VP11 user when we loose the source footage when scrolling on RED timeline?

We have to investigate the problem, can you help us to reproduce it?”

Your tech support email already regarding this issue.

[Boris Yamnitsky] “- Do you plan to include the new BCC8 in RED5?

Yes, most likely with the next major update”

i hope BCC9 won’t be out when you release the next red update ;-).

Yes it’s possible. Don’t forget to click on the small timewatch if you are using OFX effect (see below)

    Andy,
Go to Nvidia.com website and select the latest driver available (should be 285.??).
In yr post above you are using the driver version 189, that’s why it doesn’t work.

    Andy,

I have the same system as you and it works.
Update to the latest nvidia driver and to the latest built of Vegas.

    Hi Peter,
    Thanks for your reply.

[peter mcauley] “• Boris RED 5 operates normally in Sony Vegas Pro 11.”

I have problem with the BCC stab filter under boris RED 5 (plugin for VP11). It doesn’t freeze the program like it seems to happen with BCC filter OFX version, but nothing happens after analyzing. The clip is not stabilized at all.
By the way it works normally when I use RED5 as standalone.
    Hope you can help.

August 26, 2011 at 7:35 am in reply to: BCC Color Match Question

You are trying to match the highlight only.
Use the “view ” dropdown menu of the filter and check if the sky falls in the “highlight” or ‘Midtone” category (Midtone I yhink).
Then go back to normal view and match your color accordingly.

    Hope that helps

    Hi,

This is how I do (maybe there is a better way…)
1- save a snapshot in vegas of the source clip.
2- Apply boris red to the target clip and launch the UI.
3- Insert the snapshot on red timeline (add still image).
    4- Resize the snapshot.

    Hope that helps.

Select your events, go to tools>scripting>promote media markers.
The imbedded markers become “real” markers.

    Peter,
I can open the file now. The file path was too long. When I put the image in D:/ no problem to open in in RED.
BTW, both standalone and Plugin gave me the error message.
