Yes there is. To do that, you have to add your own parameters in the script.
The script use ffmpeg. You can find the documentation (with all the possible parameters) here> https://ffmpeg.org/ffmpeg.htmlTo convert audio into pcm linear, for example, you have to add “-acodec pcm_s16le” in the parameters. A little explaination here> https://trac.ffmpeg.org/wiki/audio%20types
Because of the number of encoding possibilities, i clearly can’t add everything in the plugin menu, so you’ll always have to do that manually 😡

I’m going to repeat myself, i don’t know what more i could say :/
Just import a video in your project, don’t put it in a comp or anything, select it anc clic convert.
If the plugin is installed correctly, it will work. The last thing i see which could explain why it don’t work, is that you have a to old version of AE, but it should work on CS4, CS5 and CS6…

You just have to import your video as you normally do it, select it in the Project tab and just clic on “convert to prores”, the prores file will be generated in the same folder than the original. Or you can select an output folder in the plugin just clicking on the “change output folder” button :d
The plugin don’t work in premiere, but you can export a video file from premiere, import it in after effects then convert it.

No, this plugin can only reencode a video source, you must select a video in the project tab, not a comp.
I usually render the comp in animation with parameters i want, reimport the render in AE then convert it to prores.
If my plugin don’t work when you try to convert a video, you probably didn’t check “allow script to write files” in the general preferences.
I’m going to do an update of the script soon, with an installer, prores 4444 support and probably an automatic pre-rendering 🙂

Probably for the 444 but i’m not sure that ffmpeg’s prores 4444 encoder works properly. I’m going to check that.

You must install the script correctly and run it as explained on the web site. This error appears because you didn’t run it from the After Effects’ “Window” menu.
