I just say I’m booked in these cases. It’s not unlike the old “i’m doing my hair” excuse chicks used in school when the dork asked em out. It’s just more polite that saying I don’t date dorks.
Not all artist/client combos are a match. Aint anybody gotta be rude about it.

Your state most likely has a 15 year old hiring age. Check. Outside of that, you are golden. No need for a parental slip or anythging like that.
Never feel guilty about giving youngans opportunity, man. They require it. Those with initiative will always appriciate it.

TerraBlock, hands down. Unity and interplay are just too limited and clunky. The only downside I have seen to TerraBlock at all is waiting 10 seconds or so per imported clip due to networking. It’s sound, stable and it works. You’ll not hear the same for the other solutions you listed.

I, on the other hand, would appriciate the authenticity of this content and expect it to come from a passionate person not of native english toungue. It’s not an english class. They want to know what’s in it for the,. It’s really that simple. Show em a gold mine and they will indeed mine it. You can easily get your one sheet, bible and treatments translated properly. You obviously are the one to verbally pitch this. You’re the passionate one.
Don’t give up before ya start, brother. Then, well, don’t give up after that either.

I have a well known client that likes net 90 so they can collect intrest on all of their vendor’s money. It’s pretty normal and if they are telling up front net 60, I’d take that as a positive… much better than the ones who state net 30 then pay a month late.
The norm of a new client is to get half down. If that’s a deal breaker and you are fine with it, run. If yousense that’s a mistake and do trust em, man a big part of this business is going with your heart. I have found it’s very rewarding to buy faith in humanity. Give the benefit of the doubt. I bet you’ll be glad.

they will wanna see more than a trailer. It’s not uncommon for them to want to see an actual episode. You won’t have time for that in a pitch at NATPE but you’ll wanna have some on ya when they ask.

Networks’ hesitation to engage with production companies they have not worked with before revolves around their uncertainty of delivery from those companies. Showing up to a pitch without so much as a sizzle reel is the quickest way to verify their fear in you. Nobody buys an idea. They’ll have to see the show and love it. Your first five words have to be the ones that make them have to take a look.
