true anough but a real key is to not adhere to any rules. This is where young guns shine as they often have not restricted themselves to listening to folks who hand down bugus rules. It’s as easy as makin’ it look cool. It really doesn’t have to be more complicated than that. Anyone who states rules when it comes to creativity to others as a teacher or otherwise is a freakin idiot, imo. I once attended a seminar on creativity and they kicked it off with ppt presentation. lol
Yes, I was laughing as I left.
That’s the bottom line. If you have to seek creativity, you simply are not being creative. Try stuff. Hit undo as needed. Yell woohoo when stuff works.

Go home early whan ya can.

The vibe of the pice dictates this but I’ve always liked creating custom transitions using principals and properties the the shots via custom masks.

a good ole 5D with manual setttings woud work fine. I use to do simular time lapse stuff for Jimmy Buffett back in the day but I was never tied down to anything… much more freedom. Still, I’d just snap as I wish for the 3 weeks and call it done.

  • sure. Folks love stuff on the cheap. Just because companies like Avid refuse to evolve doesn’t mean we should all stand stagnant. FCP has improcved more since announcing they will not improve the product than Avid has since boasting real time HD on boxes that can’t handle HD>

Throw templates ut the window. You are wanting to stand out, afterall. Focus on what you wanna do… not what you have done.
unless you are into doing what you’ve always done, anyway.

when an insurance co invites you to move onward and upward, you should take em up on it.

just animate your stills in AE then import the quicktimes. Messin with pan and scan will only frustrate you. Limiting yourself within the 3D DVE from 1995 will only frustrate you all the more.
