The way I see it, if my clients didn’t want my input, they’d learn what the buttons do. -
I get the same from my clients. Should something not work, I hear about in an instant. Should my show rock balls, I hear nothing.
I now like hearing nothing. -
I’d do it on the timeline by panning tracks to the middle and remixing as needed. This way I can spit everything out without changing output settings, possibly bagging myself the next time I output. Ilike to keep that stuff as is all the time. My timelines are what vary.

a 3 and 4 channels live on the video track of analog. Just a matter of routing to channels 3 and 4 if laying off to d-beta.
When mono is required, just pan it all to the middle and remix as needed.
As always, every station is different so get it from the horses mouth when in doubt. -
OUtside of hiring a designer/artist, I say just romp though some scrapbooking sites.

It’s not the codec… it’s their crappy DVE from 1994. As long as you leave it at native sizes/position, the edges will be clean. Use the DVE… mmm not so much. This is why AE is still used as Avid’s DVE more often than not. I would have though MCv6 would have fixed this. I then thought whent hey went to ten bit it would. It’s in their code and they’ve never seen a reason to fix it. It’s sold LOTS of copies of FCP as a result.
