Problem solved, thank you very much! Setting the Dynamic RAM Preview to 0 worked a treat, the video rendered without a problem. I can’t tell you how grateful I am, a sizeable part of my income depends on my videography work, so it’s vital that the software works.

I think you’re right about it being a Windows 7 problem. I can’t render on my (much higher spec.) Windows 7 PC because of the same error message, but I can on my older Windows XP PC. Ridiculous! I hope something gets done about this soon, my livelihood depends partially on video editing.

I’m having a similar problem with Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 8.0. I’m getting the low memory error message while rendering.

    My spec is as follows:

    Fujitsu P9900 0-Watt
    Windows 7 Professional x64
    Intel Core i5 – 3.2 GHz – Dual Core
    4 GB Memory

    Working with AVCHD files.

The memory usage while rendering never exceeds 1.9 GB, yet I still get this error message!

I can render projects with over an hour of content sucessfully (if a little slowly) on my old Windows XP Home PC, which has 2 GB of memory.
