This is what I tried based of Adobe’s web site
Uninstalled and reinstalled it to another drive (have 3 hard drives)
Move the source interviews to another drive
Rerecorded the interviews to another drive
Hit shift(and or shift+Ctrl) while clicking on the program icon to reinitiaize the prefrence file (as it might have been corrupted during a lock up).
None of these options worked…however I did find out something wierd.
For some reason the audio is set to 32khz however when I import it, the program converts at least 1 of the interviews POV to 44khz, yet the other one remains the same speed (32khz). A work around to this is to load it into Sound Forge and just export the audio into a sepreate WAV file and the video into another sepreate video file with the exception that the sound is muted.
Importing these two files like this skips the audio conforming (Tricks Premiere)and I am able to do my edits from there. This is a temporary work around until I can figure out how to properly do this.
Any other insights as to what is happening?
