  • Loops in motion menu ?

Posted by Romain on April 27, 2005 at 4:17 am

    Hya,
I’m having a problem when creating a motion menu in Encore. I’ve got a 5 sec video that i want looping in the background, and a minute long audio track, also looping.
Independantly they work fine, but when i put both, the audio loops at the same time as the video, after only 5 secs.
Any way to work around that ?

    Cheers,
    Romain.

    Hi Romain,

Take your 5 second video loop and bring it into Premiere Pro (or any NLE) and add it 12 times to your timeline so it adds up to 1 min to match your audio file. Then bring the new video file into Encore.

Yes that idea will work. In my menus I am working on right now I got the animation of some text slowly rotating behind the head of an animal that does 360 degrees in 30 seconds. At the very last frame I have it go to 359.9 degrees and then loop. So basically as soon as it reaches the last frame and start the first one in the loop it should make a fairly smooth transition of a complete rotation, but its that darn trigger pause that can get me.
