Theo, my thanks again. Having migrated to Vegas from the simple Windows Movie Maker, I was not thinking about multiple tracks for the same type of insertion, i.e. several video tracks. What you suggested worked quite well. Clearly I have a lot to learn regarding the capability of Vegas, but this forum is helping. Here is the video I created to demonstrate the result of your suggestion. It will describe what I meant about pictures to the right margin and text down the left side. Hopefully, I can insert the video embed code.

Well, I tried and uploaded the video, but it seems to have gone to a separate area of COW. So, my web site is https://www.gordonryan.com and the video is on the home screen if you are interested in telling me anything further about the use of Vegas. I sincerely appreciate your assistance.

Theo, many thanks for your direction about Track Motion. One remaining element eludes me. Using Track Motion moves ALL the pictures to the designated position, either left or right justified. I want to be able to move SOME but not ALL of the images placed on the video track. Can you give me the remaining secret to limit the adjustment to only the specific image I want to change? Thank you.

Tommy, thank you for your response. I did not give sufficient information for you to reply apparently. I did not create any video, or use a Camcorder. I am making a book trailer, composed of still pictures, a brief film clip, and text additions. So, what I am really seeking is the correct format to initiate the creation of the Vegas video. For instance, the options are multiple, at least four that start with Internet, also 4:3 and 16:9. Then the wide screen or standard. I will create this video and upload it to You Tube, but it is the origination on Vegas that confuses me at present. I have found many tutorial videos on YouTube, (the kids producing them are quite versatile and knowledgeable) but so far, nothing that says what my initial settings should be. Your response, HD Wide Screen, does not address the 10 or 12 options that are listed in the Vegas drop down menu. Can you perhaps elaborate, or tell me exactly what information to provide for you. Thanks again.
