thanks. so shall i just export it pal prores from final cut pro, and then encode it to ntsc mpeg for dvd in compressor?

that’s what was surprising to me – as in europe most of the players are multi-system and people sometimes don’t even know whether the dvd they played is pal or ntsc, in US it’s ntsc-only, I didn’t know that.

Ok, I finally managed to check the region code, and it is all-region, so no mistake there. I guess the problem is that it’s pal.

thank you for the detailed info. I tried the first solution, and it didn’t help, although I might have done it wrong, I’m not sure. However, it was just getting to annoying and I upgraded the project from FCP 6 (what i was working on) to FCP 7, and it all got fixed. I assume they have fixed the bug in the 7th.

thanks a lot. yes, the end product is a file. what i’m concerned of, if that premiere will just merge all the tracks into one and duplicate it through all six channels when i export it. but i’ll try this way for now, thanks.
