    Thanks. Now it is working. I did as you suggested as well as re-installed FCP3 (which probably reset my preferences) and rebooted and it showed up on the camera LCD and Bingo! I find I have to re-install FCP periodically when gremlins like this crop up. Again, many thanks. Great response! Now to get my FCP5 installed.
