    Im migrating to final cut from premiere too.
    I use the stretch tool a lot…

    I think i have find something like the stretch premiere tool… a bit more complicated.

    1- with the clip in FCP timeline
    2- at 100% speed drag the outpoint to the time you want
    3- double click on the clip to open it in viewer.
    4- go to “motion” and open the “time remap” option
    5- put the timeline cursor in the frame you want the clip to make the out.
    6- go to the source frame green line and make a keyframe with option+click
    7- drag the keyframe to the out side of the timeline (next to the other keyframe).

    That is.
