As I was going to take a screenshot I noticed that I had been looking at a shorter version of the footage and thats why it was showing me 1010 frames. Now that I checked the correct footage both show me 1054 frames. Thanks for the help you helped clear up a lot of my questions.

Thanks Walter for the reply I have been looking for this math all over the internet and couldnt find it anywhere, however, I have one confusion, you said that

    42:04 @25fps = 42*25 + 4 = 1054 frames
    43:22 @24fps = 43*24 + 22 = 1054 frames

However, in Premiere when I check the Frames in the 25fps footage it shows 1010frames,
and the frames in the 24 it shows 1054 frames.

    Why is that the case.

Im posting two pics of the project in C4D, some insight would be great. I feel the model is not aligned to the axes properly, i just need it to spin in one spot. Thanks

Thanks so much for the help Angelo, just one last thing what would be the correct resolution for 2K, I’m seeing a lot of confusion on the net some say its 2048×1152 others say its 2048×1080 and one said 2048×858 (anamorphic?).

Ok, now my other question is I need to render h.264 of the entire project as a digital file, how would I go about doing this. I have before done a short film and I had rendered it as a h.264 file and everything was fine, this however is a feature and I’m working with multiple footages.

The DPX how would I then put that onto a DVD cd or even Blu-ray, or for that matter a usb, some festivals seem to also prefer digital files.

Thanks for the reply Angelo, I just have a few more questions, my footage is a mix of 1080p Mark 3 and 5K RED, I’ve scaled them to a 2K sequence in Premiere. Now I need to color correct using Davinci Resolve, I;m basically gonna take the entire project and export as xml to Davinci and color correct it, how would you suggest I render out of Davinci?

Also the DPX you mentioned above, do I just export from Premiere as a DPX or how, cause I need this film both for DVD distribution and Film festival submissions.

Thanks for the reply, I do have one more thing to add, when I installed the new CS6 and put all the same plug-ins and attempted to open my timeline, a lot of things were not the way they were supposed to be any idea why?
