To clarify, I’m using the ProType Titler and animating it with keyframes within it… not using the Sony Credit roll.

From what I gather, you’re saying this is also a bad thing.

From my understanding, using the “legacy tex” media generator and keyfrae it via pan/crop? (like in your veg sample Mike?)

I’m hoping there is some simple setting I’m missing to make the credit roll clear?

Your suggestion is good but will entail another test render. Due to the length of the video, I can not afford many test renders as they each take hours.

If the unclear credit roll is to be expected when rendering at around 4000 CBR or 4000 avg VBR, then I’ll gladly see the end of it by following the AVI solution double render solution.

However, if this shouldn’t be happening and all I have to do is “check this deflicker box here” or some other key I’m missing… i’d love to hear this 🙂

OK, so I rendered in Best quality, using both CBR and VBR.
The rolling credits at the end are not very sharp. Given Graham’s explanation, quality shouldn’t differ, therefor this is OK.

But….

What can I do to make the rolling credits crisper?

Do you always use two-pass? is it worth the extra time?

Got it!
I saw the association to any graphic editor in prefs-Video.

I was really hoping for an in-DVDA solution, like grabbing a corner handle and rotating, like rotating a video in Vegas’ crop tool.

Using an external graphic editor is OK but for fine tuning the angle, takes a few steps. I know, I know, I’m being particular 😉

My editor comes up as Paint and I can only rotate by 90 degrees.

This is great! Thanks for the refs to the manual. I had completely forgotten about it, as silly as it sounds.

I like the idea of importing only the words as lines from a text file, then importing it, then adjusting them to match the music.

I think this will be easier then either:

1. entering them as regions in Vegas and exporting for DVDA
2. Entering them as text events in Vegas
