    Hey Steve!
This is an old post but your answer on looping the menu (audio in my case) was perfect.
    Thanks!

    Thanks for your tip Steve,

I may just try that tagger. I like the scrolling map at the end of your credits 🙂

I’ll use VBR for most projects then. Seems like there is no real disadvantage from using it.

    Yes Graham,
but since my final output was for DVD, I was focusing on an mpg2 render.

The good news is that the legacy text media generator did the trick.

I’ve spent an inordinate amount of time on this and as much as I’d love to continue troubleshooting the poor quality of other media generators, I’m behind on this and other projects and must move on.

Thanks so much for your help Mike and Graham.

    Thanks Steve,
indeed I tried it, saved quite a bit of space and from my ears… couldn’t notice any degradation.
    Thank again for confirming,

Yes, I did look at a large number of posts in this regard.

Still baffled as to why a “pro” software like Vegas Pro doesn’t address this properly.

    Thanks Graham,

I think I’ve used the correct workaround.

As suggested by you both, I ended up using the legacy text media generator and animating it with key frames. It appears to be providing the best output for rolling credits. I tried everything! Seems very sill to be using legacy plugins to get good quality output. Baffles the heck out of me.

I’m rendering the entire project right now… another 30min to go.

Where’s the wmv you’re referring to?

OK.. I just did an AVI, 16seconds, 60mb file. Poor quality
I’ve attached a screenshot of what it looks like.

    Thoughts?
