I’m checking out Excalibur. I see it doesn’t have a photo montage (sold separately) where Ultimate does.

What made you chose Excalibur over Ultimate S (v4)?

Hi Norman,

I use it to quickly boost the audio level of my event(s) when the max volume on the track still won’t give me the vol level I’m looking for.

I then drop the gain until I have a non-clipping level.

There may be better uses of it, but that’s when I use it.

Yes, I’m running v9.

I have been using vol envelopes. I’m also testing out the VASST Ultimate 4. I’ve used the “normalize audio events” feature. WOW! very useful.

Do you happen to know if the full version ever goes on sale?

Yes, looks like I’ll have to create a many events and mute the events of the non-speaker as you suggested.
