Hi Phil,
To clarify… I meant “extending” the clips.

I have numerous clips on a single track of the timeline and the client wants an additional 1 second at the start and end of each, “revealed”.

So something is there, just currently not shown.

Not sure this can be done. I tried grouping the clips before dragging the edges but this didn’t work.

Thanks John. i also keep 2x 2TB drives at the moment as well. Given that’s what you do… I’ll keep doing it as well 🙂

I will look into the RAID solution you mentioned. It would cut the time to copy.

Yes both did arrive on Friday. It’s been a holiday weekend here. just getting back to work.

Glad to get your input John as I have also tried Live and found it counter-intuitive as well.

For Acid, where do you get your libraries from? $40 does sound reasonable for a library.

I understand what you mean John. I think I prefer the idea of having a full set of loops with software so I don’t contnually have to purchase the “albums” from Smartsound. it can get a bit pricey.

John, just checked the SONY site for Acid Music Studio. it’s not clear to me if it comes with an extensive set of loops/samples. Do you know off hand or must I spend a fortune on creating a lib from scratch?

Another question, do you know how it compares to Ableton Live?

You’re right Nigel. I contacted them a while back and they had no plans on making it available for Vegas. When I hear such comments I tend to re-evaluate whether I should switch to Premiere.

Too bad because I hear smartsound/Sonicfire is fantastic.
