    Try the simple “HD 1080p 25”. Its in the bottom of the 32453245 presets it AME gives you for H.264

    I also had the same problem and got away with this.

    Check your effects mate.

    Some of them are making AE go nuts. (for example Misfire:Dust ALWAYS does the same thing to me!)

    Try to render your clip without any effect (un-check them all).
    If it succeeds then you ‘ll know that there is a “guilty plugin”.
    So start adding one and render.. then the next one.. etc

    May be you will get lucky and find another one that creates hard times to AE. If you will then please share.

    p.s. Dave, do you use vodka for your brewing?

  • Just think of it as my footage is going *giggity Gigity* its glitching from frame to frame

    If it goes ok at first frames and in a few later the “giggities” starts and getting worst then it could be your frame rate. Check your frame rate of your footage to be the same to the one your camera had when you took the shot… could be that

    and i converted the file MPG to AVI simply be renaming it..

    ..why? Be more specific.
