Nevermind, I figured out how to define variables in my psd and link them to the source image.

Thanks Dave. Is there a best practice way of converting this type of file? Usually I bring the file into vegas and export it as a .mov file to use in AE. However there are times when vegas gets to 75% and never completes. Thanks.

Thank you! I did see another tutorial on using echo by someone else but it didn’t address precomps and animation. And this one specifically mentioned the echo time setting which ended up being the reason mine wasn’t working as I hoped.

Thanks but when I do that and import the aec file, there is no special passes folder. Only a Cinema 4D Compostition folder and a solids folder.
