Well yeah, but I remember there being an effect that did this for me at my last job, was just trying to figure out what it was. Messing with the scale and position is what I planned on doing.

Ok we’re getting somewhere now. Unfortunately I did only render using the Export feature. I’d never used this before, but when I installed the software of my machine it didn’t have some of the codecs I was used to and I assumed this was my only option.
Going through my choices, I cannot find one that allows me to export as an AVI. Just mpeg and movs mainly.

Comp and image sizes are both 400×240 (these are the dimensions of my video board.) Aspect ration is custom (5:3)
It’s interpreting these things as footage.

Ok, so the last bit was fixed by me picking the active camera (whoddathunk?) but now I want some things to go one way on the Z-Axis and others to go another way. I’ve created two cameras for this and parented the appropriate layers to the camera I want, but I think I’m missing something

So I figured out that what I need is to simply use the “orbit camera” function with my camera, but in my composition it gives me the error, “Bottom, unable to orbit camera.”
Anyone help me out here?

I think we’re on the right track here. Can you explain some more about the 3D camera? Sounds like exactly what I need.
